Overview:
The Interactive Strategist leads the agency in interactive business development and provides strategic thinking for all agency clients. They manage the creative team and vendors to develop all aspects of an integrated project, while maintaining specific budgets and timelines. They are charged with thinking beyond the boundaries of traditional agencies, presenting innovative thinking, next-generation project management and insights for all interactive work. They have a demonstrated ability to harness the internet to move the needle for clients and provide measurable ROI. They must be ready to push interactive innovation, be relentless in learning about emerging media and conversant in new technologies including social networking, blogs, behavioral tracking and targeting, search engine optimization, email marketing, and web analytics.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the key player in developing specific interactive plans to support client objectives and help infuse interactive thinking across the agency.

Develop and execute strategic frameworks and rationales for interactive marketing campaigns, website development, and other digital marketing projects.

Work with internal and external creative and technical resources to determine project scope and all necessary technical components.

Work with vendor partners to write project documents including scope, testing and delivery.

Work directly with clients in new business presentations and client consulting meetings to present solutions and show them the value of the agency’s interactive capabilities.

Maintain communication with account service team ensuring accurate project status, schedule and budget information.

Develop reporting metrics to ensure successful projects and campaigns.

Mentor account service representatives, empowering them to help create and manage best-in-the-industry interactive content and experiences ensuring the agency includes strong and smart interactive components for all clients as part of the overall communications mix.

Oversee the development and execution of on-line media plans.
